Dulce New Mexico, Alien Wars Underground?

Government Conspiracy or Fabricated StoryAliens, UFO's, undeground facilities, human and cattle experimentation by aliens....sounds more SCI-FI than real life. But one man by the name of Phillip Schneider told a compelling story that is cohesive with several others who have now come forward as witnesses to the strange events beneath the surface of Dulce, New Mexico. Could it be a completely fabricated story? Or is truth stranger than fiction?

A man by the name of Phillip Schneider was an engineer and geologist for the government who helped build underground facilities in Dulce, New Mexico in late 1979. Phillip was assigned to work in Dulce New Mexico for the government, building and digging elaborate underground tunnels beneath the surface. One day in late 1979 an unexpected event occurred. Phillip was attacked in the deepest sublevel of Dulce New Mexico that reached 2.5 miles beneath the surface. Phil was attacked by a species of alien grays. He lost three fingers, and suffered a serious injury to his chest that was caused by an emitted ray from one of the Grays. Phillip managed to survive the attack but he was eventually diagnosed with Cancer due to radiation exposure. No one else in his group survived the attack. Phillip claims to have killed two alien Grays before escaping into a elevator.
He began speaking in public in 1995 about an undeground war with aliens, known as grays, in Dulce New Mexico's underground goverment facilities. Phil was seriously injured and claims to have killed two alien grays after exiting an underground elevator. He lost three of his fingers and suffered a deep chest wound during the attack. Phil was unaware of the alien species that resided and worked in the underground facilities. Phil chose to resign, but was forced to complete the project he was assigned to because of the threat of prison time. He completed his job and never returned for his paychecks.
After the attack, Phil quit working for the government. He continued to work in his field as an engineer and geologist, but kept the events that occurred in Dulce,New Mexico quiet. When a very close friend of his was murdered for speaking of the events that occurred in the Dulce New Mexico underground facilites, Phillip decided it was his duty and responsibility to Americans for him to go public, making the world aware of the conspiracy. After his best friends death, he began lecturing around the country on the events that occurred. His public lectures reached thousands as he traveled around the country speaking in different cities. Phillip could no longer keep his silence because he felt the world needed to know about the underground facilities and the governments knowledge of alien life here on the planet.
Phillip was found dead in his apartment in 1996. His death was listed as a suicide. Mystery and intrigue surrounds his untimely death. Phillip was found strangled by a catheder cord, lying face down in a wheel chair. His friends do not believe he committed suicide for many reasons. He was missing a middle finger, ring finger and pinky finger on his left hand. It would have been impossible for him to manuver his hands with great force to strangle himself. He also had access to many medicines due to his Cancer treatment that he could have overdosed at any time. Phillip also warned his family that if he "ever committed suicide" to know that he was murdered for speaking the truth. Many of his friends and family are trying to carry on his cause and prove that he was murdered for knowing too much, and speaking out the truth.
Sometimes the truth can be stranger than fiction. If Phil's story is the truth...then our world has been living under blinders and that is a scary thought.

The world might still continue if
We can stop the demonizing,

The Mayans Were...Right!

That's correct, never was there a suggestion by the Mayans that the world would end on December 21, 2012. Leave that job up to Hollywood and the doomsday sayers. The Mayan Long Count calendar is cyclical, which means every Long Count, or Epoch, their calendar resets, similar to the odometer on your car. The last time this happened was on August 11, 3114 BC. And guess what, the world didn't end then either.

 

There are multiple interpretations of what Long Counts signify. Many philosophers see the Epochs as depicting abstract shifts in the development of the human civilization. Others look to the stars and see a bigger meaning in the cosmos. The fact remains that the Mayans had the most advanced and astrologically accurate calendar in history, to this very day. Their calendar pointed back several billion years farther, to the beginning of the universe, than our modern physicists are able to calculate. They can kill people unnecessarily, uncompassionately and unfairly unless possessed only by the proper authorities.
Yesterday, deeply concerned about the end of the world predicted for today, I was faced with making a difficult decision: should I drink all of my remaining rum or save a bit for later? I enjoyed a tot or two and decided not to decide. Instead, I consulted my highly placed confidential source at the White House concerning the World's second gravest concern, privately owned weapons. This encouraging article, showing how far President Obama is ahead of us all, resulted.

According to my confidential informant, the Teleprompter of the United States (TOTUS), President Obama has drafted a far reaching Executive Decree. If Vice President Biden's weapon control study group fails promptly to devise a final solution which the President deems fitting and proper, he will issue his Decree immediately. The anticipated text of the Decree, the execution of which will be fast-tracked, follows:

Executive Decree

By virtue of the supreme authority vested in me as the President of the United States, and in order to restore peace, fairness, freedom and tranquility throughout the land so that all can once again be proud of our nation, it is hereby decreed:

I. A special commission, hereinafter referred to as the Weapons Control Commission, is hereby established and will, no later than thirty days following the effective date of this Order:

1. Identify all weapons capable of being used in the commission of assaults now in the hands of unauthorized non-governmental persons and other entities. All non-governmental persons and entities shall be deemed, without exception, to be unauthorized. Only Federally employed persons and other Federal entities shall be deemed to be authorized for purposes of this Executive Decree. Non-Federal governmental employees and other governmental entities hereafter found to be sufficiently responsible may from time to time be granted authorization by a Commission for Public Safety, to be established by an Executive Decree to be promulgated if and when the President shall deem it appropriate.

2. Identify the most expedient methods of confiscating all weapons identified in item 1, supra;

3. Establish procedures by which governmental authorities, to be specified in accordance with item 4, infra, are to implement the methods specified in item 2, supra;

4. Investigate, determine and specify with all reasonable precision which governmental persons and other governmental entities are to be directed to act in compliance with the methods and procedures determined in accordance with items 2 and 3, supra;

5. Identify the foreign nations and other foreign entities to which confiscated weapons are be donated and establish the methods by which those donations can most fairly and efficiently be made;

6. Establish fair and reasonable dates by which the procedures and methods identified above are to have been fully implemented and accomplished. The dates for implementation and accomplishment shall be no later than July 4, 2013 and February 22, 2014, respectively;

7. The report of the Weapons Control Commission shall be delivered to the President no later than February 20, 2013.

8. The findings, procedures and time tables set forth by the Weapon Control Commission shall be subject to such additions and modifications as the President of the United States shall, in his sole judgment, deem fit and proper;

9. As revised in compliance with item 8, supra, the report of the Weapons Control Commission shall be issued within three days of the completion of such Presidential action and shall be subject to no congressional, judicial or other review.

II. This Executive Decree shall be effective immediately upon issuance.


Upon issuing his Executive Decree, President Obama is expected to deliver the following public statement, believed likely to be acclaimed by all patriotic Americans:

My fellow Americans, we are all deeply saddened by the recent deaths of innocents at the hands of non-governmental gun users, whose actions were caused by extremist and otherwise diabolical supporters of what they wrongly call "gun rights" which, they wrongly claim, cannot be limited constitutionally. Let me be perfectly clear: We all know that according to the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." If there were such a right, I would of course be the first to respect it just as I have consistently respected all rights and obligations proclaimed by the Constitution. However, I am proud to say that there is not now, nor has there ever been, any "right" "to keep and bear Arms" in the United States or in any civilized nation.
[Pause for wild applause from all members of the independent mass media.]
State and local governments have occasionally granted gun privileges by granting licenses to private citizens to own, bear and even use guns. That demonstrates, conclusively, that no "right" is involved.
Licenses are granted to give people, governmentally deemed worthy of them, the privileges of driving automobiles, practicing medicine, practicing law and the like. Licenses are not needed, and therefore are not issued, to give people their constitutionally guaranteed human rights such as to vote, freely to exercise appropriate religions, to be provided free birth control and abortifacient devices and to speak inoffensively. Put simply, Americans do not need licenses to exercise their rights; they need them only to exercise those privileges that governments have, often unwisely, granted through the licensing process. It is indisputable that licenses to exercise privileges can be revoked, and that governments can refuse to issue additional licenses granting them, constitutionally.
Following the recommendations of the Weapons Control Commission, which I may in my complete discretion chose to modify, I intend by further Executive Decree to order all States and other governmental entities to revoke all weapon licenses and to refrain from issuing more.
[Pause for prolonged wild standing applause from all members of the independent mass media.]
By banning all guns, the recent discussion about what is, and what is not, an "assault weapon" becomes moot. Since all guns can be used to commit assaults, no further discussion of the definition is necessary, appropriate or will be entertained.
More is needed and we can't wait. Although recent crises caused by the use of guns have been widely publicized, merely banning guns would not contribute enough to the peace and tranquility of our great, free and democratic nation. Therefore, my Executive Decree calls for the identification of all types of Privately Owned Weapons (POWs) and the establishment of suitable means to rid America of them. Life will be far more fair, democratic, peaceful and tranquil with no privately owned guns, knives, forks, clubs, hammers, screwdrivers, automobiles, explosives or any other Weapons of Mindless Destruction (WMDs) capable of use in assaults. Prohibition of those and other WMDs will cause little or no inconvenience for law abiding, compliant Americans because my Government will provide all that is needed, thereby further stimulating our great economy.
I call upon all patriotic Americans fully to support my next Executive Decree, to be finalized when the findings and proposals of the Weapons Control Commission, as I may modify them, have been released.
Thank you and may we all soon live together in a happier, more compassionate, fairer, more just and more productive nation where freedom from constant tribulation caused by the current mindless use of civilian assault weapons of many types abounds.

(CNN) -- The most effective way to protect our children from horrors like last week's school shooting in Connecticut is to provide armed security personnel at all schools, the National Rifle Association's executive vice president said Friday.

Wayne LaPierre spoke to reporters in an appearance that was interrupted twice by protesters shouting anti-NRA slogans and bearing banners in front of his podium, including one that said "NRA killing our kids."

"We need to have every single school in America immediately deploy a protection program proven to work -- and by that I mean armed security," LaPierre said, reading from a prepared statement.

It was the prominent gun rights organization's entrance into the gun control debate that erupted after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, where a gunman shot 20 children and six adults before taking his own life.

Adam Lanza had killed his mother before arriving at the school.

Aware that most of the discussion in the days since the shooting have revolved around calls for tighter controls on weapons, LaPierre challenged his critics: What if, he asked, Lanza had been confronted by an armed, trained security officer?

"Will you at least admit it's possible that 26 innocent lives might have been spared?" he asked.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, he said.

To that end, the NRA will fund an initiative to develop a "National School Shield Emergency Response Program" for schools that want it, LaPierre said.

The NRA envisions a program where qualified police, military, security personnel and others organize to protect schools.

Schools remain a target for criminal gunmen because they are not protected by armed security the way other important institutions are, he said.

Policies banning guns at schools create a place that "insane killers" consider "the safest place to inflict maximum mayhem with minimum risk," LaPierre said.

Such policies leave schoolchildren "utterly defenseless, and the monsters and the predators of the world know it," he said.

The nation's most prominent gun rights lobby joins "the nation in horror, outrage and earnest prayer for the families" who "suffered such an incomprehensible loss," LaPierre added.

Friday's event was billed as a news conference, but LaPierre only read a statement; he took no questions.

Former congressman Asa Hutchinson will lead the school security project.

Armed personnel will be part of the security model but not the only component, Hutchinson said.

"School safety is a complex issue with no simple, single solution," he said. "But I believe trained, qualified, armed security is one key component among many that can provide the first line of deterrence as well as the last line of defense."

Across the nation Friday morning, church bells rang in remembrance of the victims. The NRA was among those groups that observed a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m., the same time as last week's massacre.

More than 195,000 people have signed an online White House petition supporting new gun control legislation.

A slight majority of Americans favor major restrictions on guns: 52%, up 5 points from a survey taken in August after the July shooting inside a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, where 12 people died, according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Wednesday.

Biden will lead a White House effort to craft proposals aimed at preventing another tragedy such as the Newtown shootings. The recommendations are due sometime in January.

That same month, several lawmakers have promised to introduce or reintroduce gun control legislation, ranging from a reinstatement of a federal ban on assault weapons to banning the sale of high-capacity magazines.

Since the shootings, a number of conservative Democrats and some Republicans who have supported gun rights have said they are open to discussing the issue.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, said she will introduce legislation to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004. The White House has said that the president supports that effort.

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi took her own step toward reform Wednesday by announcing a task force on preventing gun violence.

Pelosi said the task force will work toward restoring the assault weapons ban, strengthening the background check system and addressing mental health and violence issues.

The NRA, with its roughly 4.3 million members, is the standard-bearer for protecting the Second Amendment. It is also the source of hefty campaign donations.

During the 2012 election cycle, the NRA donated $719,596 to candidates. Republicans received $634,146 of that, according to the Center for Responsive Politics' analysis of federal campaign data.

Some $85,450 went to Democrats, many of them in states that are considered more conservative when it comes to gun control laws.

Carloads of teenagers from a Minnesota school that suffered a mass shooting in 2005 headed toward Newtown on Thursday to offer their support.

Also Thursday, burials were held for three children and two teachers.

More than 2,200 miles west of Newtown, Ogden, Utah, the hometown of shooting victim Emilie Parker, was festooned with pink ribbons as her parents brought her body back for burial.

"This sucks. There's no reason for us to be here tonight," her father, Robbie Parker, told friends and well-wishers at a memorial service Thursday night. "And I'm so thankful for everybody that's here."

His voice trailed off as he struggled for composure. Seeing the pink -- his slain daughter's favorite color -- made him and his wife, Alissa, "feel like we were getting a big hug from everybody."

Also buried Thursday, at an undisclosed location, was Nancy Lanza, the shooter's mother, whom he killed before the school rampage, said Donald Briggs, a friend of the family who grew up with her in Kingston, New Hampshire.

Plans had not been finalized for the burial of the gunman, her son Adam.

Three 6-year-olds were among those buried Thursday: Allison Wyatt, who loved to draw and wanted to be an artist; Benjamin Wheeler, who loved the Beatles; and red-haired Catherine Hubbard, who loved animals.

NASA SAYS THERE"S NO SUCH THINGS AS AN ALIGNMENT

One of the most bizarre theories about 2012 has built up with very little attention to facts. This idea holds that a cosmic alignment of the sun, Earth, the center of our galaxy -- or perhaps the galaxy's thick dust clouds -- on the winter solstice could for some unknown reason lead to destruction. Such alignments can occur but these are a regular occurrence and can cause no harm (and, indeed, will not even be at its closest alignment during the 2012 solstice.)

The details are as follows: Viewed far from city lights, a glowing path called the Milky Way can be seen arching across the starry sky. This path is formed from the light of millions of stars we cannot see individually. It coincides with the mid plane of our galaxy, which is why our galaxy is also named the Milky Way.

Thick dust clouds also populate the galaxy. And while infrared telescopes can see them clearly, our eyes detect these dark clouds only as irregular patches where they dim or block the Milky Way's faint glow. The most prominent dark lane stretches from the constellations Cygnus to Sagittarius and is often called the Great Rift, sometimes the Dark Rift.

Another impressive feature of our galaxy lies unseen in Sagittarius: the galactic center, about 28,000 light-years away, which hosts a black hole weighing some four million times the sun's mass.

The claim for 2012 links these two pieces of astronomical fact with a third -- the position of the sun near the galactic center on Dec. 21, the winter solstice for the Northern Hemisphere -- to produce something that makes no astronomical sense at all.

As Earth makes its way around the sun, the sun appears to move against the background stars, which is why the visible constellations slowly change with the seasons. On Dec. 21, 2012, the sun will pass about 6.6 degrees north of the galactic center -- that's a distance that looks to the eye to be about 13 times the full moon's apparent size -- and it's actually closer a couple of days earlier. There are different claims about why this bodes us ill, but they boil down to the coincidence of the solstice with the sun entering the Dark Rift somehow portending disaster or the mistaken notion that the sun and Earth becoming aligned with the black hole in the galactic center allows some kind of massive gravitational pull on Earth.

The first strike against this theory is that the solstice itself does not correlate to any movements of the stars or anything in the universe beyond Earth. It just happens to be the day that Earth's North Pole is tipped farthest from the sun.

Second, Earth is not within range of strong gravitational effects from the black hole at the center of the galaxy since gravitational effects decrease exponentially the farther away one gets. Earth is 93 million miles from the sun and 165 quadrillion miles from the Milky Way's black hole. The sun and the moon (a smaller mass, but much closer) are by far the most dominant gravitational forces on Earth. Throughout the course of the year, our distance from the Milky Way's black hole changes by about one part in 900 million – not nearly enough to cause a real change in gravity's pull. Moreover, we're actually nearest to the galactic center in the summer, not at the winter solstice.

Third, the sun appears to enter the part of the sky occupied by the Dark Rift every year at the same time, and its arrival there in Dec. 2012 portends precisely nothing.

What can we expect the day after the 'end of the world'? According to wiki, there have been 183 end of the world predictions that have failed.  Many of these were prophesized by religious zealots through fear propaganda.
Here are just a few of them:
In 1284, Pope Innocent III (d. 1216) predicted that the world would end 666 years after the rise of Islam. (do you see how long the divide and conquer principle has been going on?)
In 1658, Christopher Columbus claimed that the world was created in 5343 BCE, and would last 7000 years. Assuming no year zero, that means the end would come in 1658.
Mathematician Jacob Bernoulli predicted a comet would destroy the earth on April 5, 1719.
The newly formed Seventh Day Adventists, a group founded by former Millerites, predicted the Second Coming would be in 1874.
Mother Shipton, a 15th-century prophet, was quoted as saying "The world to an end shall come, In eighteen hundred and eighty one" in a book published in 1862. In 1873 it was revealed to be a forgery; however, this did not stop some people from expecting the end.
Camille Flammarion predicted that the 1910 appearance of Halley's Comet might destroy life on Earth, but not the planet itself.
Evangelist Wilbur Glenn Voliva announced that "the world is going to go 'puff' and disappear in September, 1935.
On December 21, 1954, according to Dorothy Martin, the world was to be destroyed by terrible flooding on this date, claimed this leader of a UFO cult called Brotherhood of the Seven Rays.
Psychic Jeane Dixon predicted that on February 4, 1962, a planetary alignment was to bring destruction to the world.
George Van Tassel predicted the Apocalypse to occur on August 20, 1967, during which the southeastern US would be destroyed by a Soviet nuclear attack, according to this UFO prophet, who claimed to have channeled an alien named Ashtar.
Evangelist Pat Robertson predicted in 1976 that the end of the world was coming in October or November 1982.
José Argüelles claimed that Armageddon would take place on August 17, 1987 unless 144,000 people gathered in certain places in the world in order to "resonate in harmony" on this day.
Hal Lindsey suggested that the Rapture would take in 1987, reasoning that it was 40 years (one Biblical generation) after Israel gained statehood.
Louis Farrakhanm, the leader of the Nation of Islam, declared that the Gulf War would be the "War of Armageddon which is the final war."
Harold Camping predicted the Rapture would occur on September 6, 1994. When it failed to occur he revised the date to September 29 and then to October 2 (and many more times afterwards).
California psychic Sheldon Nidle predicted that the world would end on December 17, 1996, with the arrival of 16 million space ships and a host of angels.
A prediction attributed to Nostradamus stating the "King of Terror" would come from the sky in "1999 and seven months" led to fears of the end.
Edgar Cayce predicted the Second Coming would occur in 2000.

The Nuwaubian Nation movement claimed that the planetary lineup would cause a "star holocaust," pulling the planets toward the sun on  May 5, 2000.
Nancy Lieder originally predicted the date for the Nibiru collision as May 2003. According to her website, aliens in the Zeta Reticuli star system told her through messages via a brain implant of a planet which would enter our solar system and cause a pole shift on earth that would destroy most of humanity.
Pat Robertson In his 1990 book The New Millennium, Robertson suggested April 29, 2007 as the day of Earth's destruction.
José Luis de Jesús predicted that the world's governments and economies would fail on June 30, 2012, and that he and his followers would undergo a transformation that would allow them to fly and walk through walls.
In time, the end of the world will arrive but it will not occur through end time prophecy. Sorry doomtards and religious zealots.
In time one of two events will occur which will end life on this planet as we know it.
The first scenario is that our sun will eventually go supernova and will engulf the earth.
The second scenario involves our sister galaxy, Andromeda, as we are on a collision course with this galaxy, but this won’t happen for billions of years.
In both of these scenarios, it is possible (and likely) that we will have developed the technology to be able to live elsewhere, whether that is another planet that has life sustaining elements such as a breathable atmosphere and water, or in space stations.
Depending on when any given prophecy was made, chances are, the day after the end of the world prediction was made will not be much different than today.
It seems many of the world leaders are eager to fulfill end time prophecies through Armageddon despite their constituents demanding world peace.

Other religious zealots expect the return of Jesus Christ.  It is interesting to note that the letter “J” was not invented until the 1500’s, which means there was no one named Jesus, John, Jacob, Jeremiah, Job, Joseph, etc… Even if Jesus’ real name was Yeshua ben Yoseph, his translated name would be “Joshua, son of Jospeh”.
In astrotheology, Jesus is the “Sun” who dies on the (Southern Cross) for 3 days and is resurrected (when the sun begins moving in its progression towards to summer solstice).
So yes, Jesus (the Sun) will return as he returns every day to give us sunshine and life sustaining warmth. The physical “Jesus” however, will not.  Jesus is some guy in Mexico.
Astrologers tend to give the most valid information but they generally do not predict end time prophecy.  Right now, Pluto is in Capricorn until the year 2023.  The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was in 1776, the year of the American Revolution.  Look around the world and you will see many revolutions going on right now.
Astrology teaches us that time (and events) are cyclic. Perhaps this was the message of the Maya? In defense of the Maya, there are no Maya on record who have stated that December 21st, 2012 would be the end of the world.

The day after the "end of the world" will not be much different than today with the exception of the transition of the incoming energies as we exit out of the Age of Pisces and enter into the Age of Aquarius. These energies will continue to bring whistleblowers out of the woodwork as more and more people with nefarious intentions are exposed while truth, harmony, compassion for one another and coexistence become the "norm". We can expect the release of suppressed technologies that will make our current standard of living seem like the Stone Age.
They say that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. What has history taught us?
In the case of end time prophecy, we know of at least 183 failed predictions. 
Here is the bottom line: As long as there is organized religion, there will be end time prophecy. These predictions will come and go and one should not buy into the fear propaganda that end time prophecy brings. Religion was created by man to control man and as we know, religion equals subservience, control and conformity… the same template as EVERY government. All government rule through fear so don’t buy into the fear propaganda and enjoy each day by living in the NOW.

LOS ANGELES (MyFoxNational) -- Many religions, calendars and prophecies point to Dec. 21, 2012 as the end of the world. Is this another "Theory of the Apocalypse" that will come and go like others we have seen, or is this one that we should be paying attention to?

Not so long ago, many people were convinced of the world’s impending doom.
Nostradamus predicted terror descending from the sky in July 1999. On New Year’s Day 2000, we made it unscathed through Y2K and the near-hysterical scenarios that every computer across the planet would crash due to a basic time-keeping glitch.
So why does this prediction seem different?
One of the main theories driving this prophecy is that the Mayan calendar ends on Dec. 21, 2012. The Mayans studied our sun and made their prophecies based on the cycles of the sun.
Based on their observations, the Mayans predicted that from the initial date of the start of their civilization, 3113 B.C., one cycle being completed would be 5,125 years in their future, Dec. 21, 2012. The sun, having received a powerful ray of synchronizing light from the center of the galaxy, would change its polarity which would produce a great cosmic event that would propel human kind to be ready to cross into a new era, "The Golden Age."
A second sign is the increase of natural disasters leading up to the date. Natural disasters have devastated the earth throughout history, and in recent years we have seen just about everything -- hurricanes, tornadoes, typhoons, earthquakes and floods.
One prediction that the U.S. is headed for five natural disasters has some believing in the doomsday theory.
Another factor is that many of the world’s religions and most famous prophets reference something cataclysmic happening around Dec. 21, 2012. The medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching all point to this specific date as the end of civilization.
Also, one of the best known Catholic prophets, Irishman Maelmhaedhoc O'Morgair, better known as St. Malachy, predicts that the Pope after John Paul II would be the last.
Then there are those who believe in the famous predictions of Nostradamus. Those studying the Prophecies of Nostradamus say that he has indicated the possibility of a Third World War.
It is believed that a major terrorist attack on the U.S., assassination of some world leaders and another war in the Middle East may precede the Third World War, as well as numerous natural disasters. Sounds a lot like the world we live in today.
There is also this tie in to modern-day technology. The Web Bot Project, developed in the late 1990s to assist in making stock market predictions using a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does, also came up with the same date.
Skeptics point to a long history of "Failed Doomsdays," but many oracles of doom throughout history have a disturbingly accurate track record.

Mayas complain of government banning rituals at archaeological sites

Mexican authorities have banned Maya spiritual leaders from performing ceremonies at their ancestral temples, which are about to be overrun by a curious assortment of conspiracy theorists, dooms-dayers, new-agers and well-intentioned tourists who just want to be apart of the festivities.

The Ceremonies are meant to mark the end of the Maya long-count calendar, which began 13 Baktun (cycles) ago. Under the Greco-Roman Calender, that's about 3112 BC.

Contrary to popular (mis)belief, the end of the long-count calendar is being viewed as something positive. As Mayan priest Jose Manrique Esquive recently pointed out, the current Baktun, which began around 1618, has been drenched by a continuous reign of misery that included the introduction of European disease, culture and language being erased and entire populations being extinguished.

"This is the ending of an era for the Maya, an era which has been very intense for us, in which we have had suffering and pain," said Manrique Esquivel, adding "we are praying the wars, the conflicts, the hunger to end."

Despite their intentions, the government is refusing to let any Maya traditional perform their ceremonies inside Chichen Itza, Coban, Tulum and other sites that their ancestors built.

"We would like to do these ceremonies in the archaeological sites, but unfortunately they won't let us enter," continued Manrique Esquivel. "It makes us angry, but that's the way it is ... we perform our rituals in patios, in fields, in vacant lots, wherever we can."

The press director for the government's National Institute of Anthropology and History claims there are two reasons for the ban: "In part it is for visitor safety, and also for preservation of the sites, especially on dates when there are massive numbers of visitors... Many of the groups that want to hold ceremonies bring braziers and want to burn incense, and that simply isn't allowed."

Of course that's just the excuse. The government would much rather keep the Maya on the sidelines since they are orchestrating a massive commercial spectacle for tens of thousands of people, many of whom are are clinging to delusional hopes and irrational fears about what's going to happen at the end of 13 Baktun--December 21, 2012.

However, the Maya are still going to be allowed to visit the sites along with the tourists, but they will likely have to pay to get in, just like everyone else.

Meanwhile, as the Maya proceed with their ceremonies, shops in a Siberian city continue to sell Apocalypse kits; Beijing residents are stocking up on crackers, bottled water, and life preservers; in southwest France, the town of Bugarch prepares for a possible deluge of visitors who believe that a mountain could save them from the end of the world; and all the big corporate media services happily continue to spread the mania--all of which stems from little more than basic ignorance toward Indigenous perceptions and realities.Source

With dancing, incense, and rituals, the Mayans performed the "New Fire" ceremony Thursday at a park in Mexico City. They have been barred from performing rituals at their ancestral temples in the Maya region.

Eben Alexander answers skeptics' criticisms

In October,a Newsweek article featured an excerpt from neurosurgeon Eben Alexander's new book, Proof of Heaven. Several skeptics wrote articles critical of Dr. Alexander's Newsweek account, notably neuroscientist Sam Harris. Harris disputes that Alexander's cortex was shut down which allowed the “hyper-real” experience of heaven Alexander reported. While the severity and duration of the meningitis infection, the resulting coma, an enhanced CT scan and neurological examinations all indicate global impairment of the neocortex which would not support consciousness, to Harris these constitute only secondary evidence and consciousness could still have been possible. For Harris, complete brain inactivity can be demonstrated only by brain imaging like fMRI and EEG. It should be noted that while he has a Ph.D. in neuroscience, Harris does not practice neuroscience and is not a clinician.

Alexander responded to these criticisms on Alex Tsakiris' Skeptiko podcast.

Seven-year-old Girl Publishes Book on Her NDE

$5M Templeton grant for NDE and afterlife research

The John Templeton Foundation has awarded a three-year $5 million grant to University of California Riverside philosopher John Fischer to research aspects of immortality, including near-death experiences and the impact of belief in an afterlife on human behavior, according to a UCR report. The Immortality Project will solicit research proposals from scientists, philosophers and theologians whose work will be reviewed by respected leaders in their fields and published in academic and popular journals. "We have a deep human need to figure out what happens to us after death," said Fischer, principal investigator of the Immortality Project.
"Anecdotal reports of near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences and past lives are plentiful, but it is important to subject these reports to careful analysis," Fischer said.

Dr. Mary Neal's Near-Death Experience: To heaven and back

Anita Moorjani's amazing NDE and miraculous healing

Anita Moorjani is a Hindu woman living in Hong Kong who "died" of stage 4 lymphoma in February, 2006. During her near-death experience she received a number of insights about the source of her cancer and was told by her deceased father that she needed to come back. She knew that she would be completely healed if she came back—and she was.
Anita's book is Dying to Be Me: My journey from cancer, to near death, to true healing. Anita was interviewed in 2011 by Lilou Mace about her NDE and miraculous healing (47 min).
