The nuclear doomsday countdown clock was an creation of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists in 1947. It was created after World War II (WW2) to measure when it seemed most likely that there was a higher probability of nuclear war and nuclear dooms day.
The Doomsday Countdown Clock 2012, Five Minutes To Midnight
If it said Five (5) minutes to midnight, nuclear war and nuclear doomsday would be imminent and too close for comfort. The doomsday clock was considered a count down clock to nuclear war. The closer to midnight the doomsday countdown clock is, the worse the situation and the closer to global disaster we are.
As world events would happen, the hands on the doomsday countdown clock were moved to the proper position to show when the threat of nuclear war and dooms day was getting to a point where tensions in the world would make it more probably to happen. Many people believe that some sort of Armageddon or Apocalypse is near, and nuclear war is part of that vision.
The 2012 Doomsday Count Down Clock Also Represents Climate Change Disaster Possibilities
The minute hand of the dooms day clock is also representing climate change conditions, now that global warming and climate change have become an issue. Human life is not only threatened by nuclear wars and nuclear doomsday created by fellow humans, but also human life is threatened by severe climate changes that are predicted to become an issue very soon, especially as the population grows exponentially faster and faster. It is believed that the environment will not be able to sustain humanity with some of the coming climate changes and so therefore a doomsday countdown has begun in that respect.
The doomsday clock count down applies to world changes, the "mood" of those who have the power to launch nuclear wars, tensions between nations, and whether those tensions can escalate into a nuclear doomsday countdown that annihilates humanity. As 2012 nears and the world tensions escalate, the atomic doomsday clock has now become the "2012 doomsday countdown clock" rather than just representing nuclear war, which it was originally created for by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. The possibility of World War III (WW3) is not all that it represents anymore.
What people don't realize is that these nuclear doomsday wars are manipulated maneuverings of those who secretly run the world behind the governments, and launch these wars in order to keep humanity in the energy of fear and to also make a lot of money on the situation by supplying both sides of the war with weapons to fight each other with, thus indebting the warring nations with a large loan with interest for the purchase of the weapons.
